Vegetarianism has been growing popularity with Connecticut teens within the last twenty years. Three big reasons for this dietary change are increased awareness of animal cruelty, religion and health. Although it is admirable that younger generations embrace the ethics and healthy lifestyle, there are difficulties in "going vegetarian".

It can be difficult, but learning how to eat is also an important life skill. May people don't ever think about what is being put on their plate. On becoming vegetarian, I increased my knowledge about food at least 20 times over!
